Sara Rose-Carswell Government Relations Manager Sara began her professional career in the Canadian energy sector as a lawyer and became an advisor on corporate social responsibility at TransAlta Corporation. She later served as a Senior Policy Advisor to the Canadian Government and as an Associate of The International Institute for Sustainable Development, Geneva. She has lived and worked in Canada, the United States, Switzerland, France and South Africa, and developed projects in Russia and Uganda. Sara is based in HALO USA’s Washington D.C. Office.

Amy Currin HALO USA Development Manager Amy joined HALO in May 2010 and is based out of San Francisco. Before joining HALO USA, she worked in London in a Business Development role for Marie Curie Cancer Care, one of the UK’s largest charities. Amy spent her first few weeks at HALO learning to demine in Sri Lanka and has also spent time learning Explosive Ordnance Disposal in Angola. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in Communication (hons) from the University of Cincinnati.
