Claire Wheatley, HALO Trust

Claire Wheatley

Head of HR

Claire joined HALO in January 2016, as HR Director. Responsible for all people based activity across HALO, she works closely with the Regional Directors to ensure HALO has the right resources, skills, mobility and engagement to support the organisation, as well as day to day HR management. A member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, she has a BA Hons in Psychology.
Claire is married with 2 daughters, and enjoys performing with her local Amateur Operatics club.

Pam Robertson, HALO Trust

Pam Robertson

Finance Officer

Pam joined HALO in April 2002 and is based at HALO's HQ. She works closely with the management team and visits the programmes on a regular basis to carry out external and internal audits also providing finance training to all HALO staff during the visits. Pam is a level 4 athletics official (field Judge) and in her spare time officiates at all levels of competition from junior league to international competitions, including the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in 2014.

Diana Roberts, HALO Trust

PA to CEO

Diana joined HALO in early 2003 and has held various positions from running the day-to-day administration to recruitment and human resources. She is currently Personal Assistant to the CEO. She has visited HALO’s programmes in Georgia and Abkhazia.

Carol Rogerson, HALO Trust

Carol Rogerson

HQ Office Manager

Carol is based at HQ in Scotland. Her role involves organising travel, passports and visas for expats to visit and work in HALO’s overseas programmes. She is also responsible for running the day-to-day office admin, including website administration. In 2010, Carol visited HALO’s programme in Cambodia on a familiarisation trip. She spends her spare time training and competing her horse in dressage and side saddle.

Karen Reed, HALO Trust

Karen Reed

Finance Officer

Karen joined The HALO trust in September 2005. She gained a Ba Hons in Business & Finance from Liverpool John Moores University and works in the HQ Finance department whilst also supporting the programmes. Karen has visited Nagorno Karabakh on familiarisation training and will continue with overseas finance visits. In her spare time, Karen competes in running and open water events.

Atholl Stewart HALO Trust

Logistics and Procurement Manager

Atholl left the British Army in 2012 after a 29 year career as a soldier and Officer. Over the last 4 years he has worked in Northern Afghanistan as Project Risk Manager, in 2014 he moved to assist in the setup of the new franchise in Nigeria for a global security company. More recently having been attached to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation as a Ground Security Risk Managers on the Polio eradication programme in Northern Nigeria.
Atholl Joined HALO in April 2016.

Tim Kruek, HALO Trust

Tim Kreuk

Partnerships Manager

Tim joined HALO in January 2017 as Partnerships Manager. With his background as an engineer officer in the Dutch army and having worked in foreign affairs, Tim is well suited to translate the world of operational demining to the policy level. Tim worked in Iraq, Chad and the UAE and spent time in the HALO programs in Afghanistan, Colombia and Zimbabwe. Tim loves to play sports, read, and play games and is an avid traveller, having already visited 90 countries.

Katrina Clydesdale, HALO Trust.

Katrina Clydesdale

Programme Support Officer

Katrina joined HALO in 2015 and is based at HQ in Scotland. As Programme Support Officer she provides assistance to Regional Directors and HALO programmes on a range of thematic and practical issues. Katrina holds both an MA in Comparative Ethnic Conflict and an LLM in Human Rights Law, and in her spare time undertakes volunteer work in the field of non-violent conflict transformation.

Kieran McCulloch, HALO Trust

Kieran McCulloch

Finance Officer

Kieran joined HALO in September 2014 as a Finance Assistant after graduating from the University of Stirling with a degree in Accountancy. He is based in the Scotland HQ but has also spent time at the West Bank programme working with the finance team there. Outside of HALO, Kieran is a keen footballer and and can always be found on a football pitch at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon.

Procurement and Logistics Assistant

Curtiss Wilson joined The HALO Trust in June, 2015 as our UK-based Procurement and Logistics Assistant. Working alongside our Logistics Director and Finance team, his role involves sourcing and shipping goods to HALO programmes across the world. This encompasses everything from detectors and medical supplies to safety equipment and vehicles. Curtiss hails from Dumfries in south-west Scotland, just a few miles from our global headquarters in Carronbridge.

Searlait Gracie, HALO Trust

Searlait Gracie

Administration Assistant

Searlait Joined HALO in October 2014 as an Administration Assistant. Her role involves assisting the Office Manager with all admin requirements at Headquarters and helps arrange HALO staff travel. In her spare time, Searlait supports the local ice hockey team, the Solway Sharks and previously held the position as Club Secretary.

Sarah Cochrane, HALO Trust.

Fundraising Officer

Sarah joined HALO in July 2015 to assist the communications and fundraising team. Previously she was a PA for a HNW individual organising their daily life to high profile events. In her spare time she can be found helping her husband out on the farm and assisting with fundraising events for The Worshipful Company of Cordwainers and the Dumfriesshire & Stewartry Foxhounds.
