HALO Finances

HALO receives the majority of its funding from government donors but is increasingly seeking funds from trusts, foundations, and private individuals. In the 2016-17 financial year, our total income was £41 million, of which 90 per cent was spent directly on our field programmes.

THE DIFFERENCE
A GIFT WILL MAKE

With just £40, we can buy a visor to protect a deminer’s face and eyes in case of an accident.

A gift of £70 pays for one week of mine clearance.

A donation of £80 allows us to buy new tools to unearth landmines.

With a £220 gift, we can buy body armour to protect one deminer for many years of clearance work.

If you donate £1,200, we can buy a new, specialised metal detector that can better identify mines.
