You can do anything to raise money for landmine removal: clay pigeon shoot, bake, trek to the South Pole, drive from London to Cape Town, give up your birthday, host a black-tie gala, walk 5K or run a marathon.
Our supporters have done all of these things and more to help us remove landmines. Harness the power of your community to help those affected by conflict.

kAYAK THE KWANZA
Between June 3rd and July 6th 2016, Alfy and Oscar completed the first source-to-mouth expedition along the Kwanza River in Angola, setting a new Guinness World Record. They paddled and carried a wooden kayak along the 1,303 km journey. During their journey, their kayak sunk and they experienced significant challenges from the authorities but they made it to their destination and to date have raised an amazing $23,700 for HALO mine clearance in Angola. Donations are being collected for their campaign until August.
Thank you Alfy and Oscar for your monumental effort. The money you have raised will fund vital clearance in rural Angolan communities struggling with the threat of mines and other explosive debris of war at a time when humanitarian aid to Angola is at an all-time low and funding for mine clearance has been in decline for eight years.
