HALO begins clearing landmines at the site of the Baptism of Christ

One of the holiest sites in Christianity is a spot on the West Bank of the Jordan River, the site of the Baptism of Christ. For over five decades it has been inaccessible to pilgrims and visitors, deserted when landmines were laid here during the 1967 Six Day War.

Jonathan Vigliotti from CBS News reports on HALO’s unique project to clear the mines so the churches can become places of ministry once again.
