People in war-torn communities are desperate to educate their children and put food on the table, but often jobs are scarce. Without a living wage, it is difficult for families to survive.
By employing and training local men and women, HALO helps people rebuild their lives. Across our workforce, 98 per cent of our staff come from the communities we serve. We train them for a wide range of roles, from medics and paramedics to deminers, team leaders, drivers and translators. We also employ people in other professional capacities including finance, HR and administration.
